Ceremony Planned at Tehran Quran Expo to Honor Quran Servants

IQNA – A ceremony is going to be held at the 31st edition of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition to honor several veteran Quran activists and others serving the Holy Book.

This is according to Ali Sarabi, secretary of the Holy Quran Servants Society, who said the 29th Congress for Honoring Quran Servants will be organized in Mid-Ramadan like previous years.

He said Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi will take part at the event.

This year, 13 servants of the Holy Book have been selected that will be honored at the upcoming ceremony, he noted.

They are active in different fields related to the Holy Quran, Sarabi went on to say.

Nealy 300 veteran Quranic figures have been honored in the previous editions, the official said.

There are suggestions that Quran servants from other countries would also be honored in the future, he further stated.

The 31st edition of the Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition was officially launched in a ceremony on March 20.

It has been attended by representatives from 25 countries.

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
