The e-portal aims to facilitate the process of submitting applications for those wishing to provide iftar spreads in the holy month of Ramadan.
It has been launched by the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.
Providing an iftar meal to a fasting person is considered a good deed in Islam and is encouraged, and this is why Muslims are keen to host each other during Ramadan and exchange gifts of food.
