All Muslims Urged to Stand Up against Anti-Islam Acts of Sacrilege
In a statement on Tuesday, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim rapped recurrent acts of Quran desecration in European countries.
He deplored the fact that Western countries like Sweden and Denmark spread hate against Muslims in the name of freedom of expression.
The senior cleric described the Quran burnings and moves to defile the Holy Book as forlorn attempts aimed at causing the defeat of the Islamic movement in the world.
Sheikh Qassim said the Islamic movement is spreading among people and its growth will not stop with such Islamophobic acts.
In recent weeks, Islamophobic figures and groups in several European countries have repeatedly carried out Quran burnings and similar attempts to desecrate the Muslim holy book.
The acts of sacrilege in Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands have drawn outrage and condemnations from Muslim countries and the world.
