Rami al-Jammarat or the symbolic act of stoning the devil is one of the Islamic rituals that pilgrims must perform during Hajj pilgrimage.
Muslims throw pebbles at three walls, called Jammarat, that are located in Mina, east of Mecca.
After Rami al-Jammarat, the pilgrims will proceed to perform the sacrifice.
Following the sacrifice, they will shave or trim their hair, thereby exiting the state of Ihram.
This year, over 2.5 million Muslims from all over the world have attended the Hajj pilgrimage.
Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.
