Five contestants in each category have made it to the final of the competition which will be later held in person in the holy city of Qom.

According to organizes, this is the second edition of the contest.

Iran has hosted Afghan refugees since the late 1970s following the occupation of their country by the Soviet Union troops. Although many of those refugees have returned to their country voluntarily, there are still hundreds of thousands of Afghans in Iran.
