Safa al-Silawi, the head of the center, said the other programs will include Quranic circles on the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS), Qadr Nights and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS).

There will also be competitions on memorization, recitation and Tafseer (interpretation) of the Quran as well as Quran reading sessions for women, he added.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar in which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. The Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) heart in this month.
