“I completed the memorization of the Quran at 15 and with the writing of the Quran, I aimed to consolidate the memorization and improve Arabic calligraphy skills,” she told Masrawy.
Adly studies the Arabic language at the Assiut branch of Al-Azhar University and says she had always been interested in writing down the Quran with her own handwriting.
Living in a village in Qena Governorate, she says has completed writing the Quran using the Uthman Taha style.
Verse 24 of Surah Al-Nur, which reads “On a Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do”, was a motivator for her to write down the Noble Quran.
She says now has the honor of writing the Quran after the honor of its memorization.
