During the visit, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Nezamzadeh was briefed about the activities of the center and Quranic courses held there for women.
He thanked the Iranian cultural attaché, Mohammad Jafari Malek, and Tandis Taqavi, the instructor of the courses, for their efforts to promote the Quranic teachings.
He also hailed the participants in the courses and said the Holy Book is a source of light that shows humans the right path in life.
Sixteen Filipino women are taking the Quranic courses at the center which focus on contemplating the Quran and interpretation of Quranic verses.
Hojat-ol-Islam Nezamzadeh also visited the University of Santo Tomas, a private, Roman Catholic research university in Manila, and held talks with a number of the university’s officials.
