IQNA – The Al-Mustafa International University plans to organize an international conference on “75 years of occupation in Palestine”.

The university’s Humanities-Islamic Sciences Center has issued a call for papers on the theme of the conference.

According to Seyed Mehdi Taheri, the scientific secretary of the conference, those interested can submit their papers in Persian, English, Arabic, French, Turkish and Urdu.

The deadline for submitting papers will be May 10, 2024, he said, noting that the conference will be held on May 30, 2024.

Sixteen academic and scholarly centers and institutions will cooperate with the Al-Mustafa International University in holding the event, he stated.

The intellectual foundations (of the issue of Palestine), the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation and Its aftermaths, and strategies for resolving the Palestinian issue are the main themes of the conference, Taheri said.

The subthemes include occupation of Palestine from viewpoint of international laws, documents and laws, support for the oppressed people of Palestine from viewpoint of Islam and other faiths, responsibilities of governments and international organizations with regard to Israeli regime's occupation, and the Zionist regime’s violation of human rights, he went on to say.
