Israeli forces used rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas, and skunk water to disperse worshipers who were praying near Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds on Friday which resulted in dozens of people suffering from inhalation problems.
The worshipers had gathered in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood, adjacent to the Old City of Jerusalem, after being denied entry into Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation authorities, Palestine's WAFA News Agency reported.
The occupation authorities had imposed strict measures on the entrances to the holy site, preventing hundreds of worshipers from performing the dawn prayer.
This was the 12th consecutive Friday that the Israeli occupation forces had intensified their military measures against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the residents of the Old City, escalating the tensions in the area.
