The auspicious occasion is annually celebrated as the Girls’ Day in Iran.
Some 5,000 girls are expected to take part in the gathering at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall), said Mehdi Armaghani, cultural director of the Islamic Association of Students, which organizes the event.
He noted that the association also plans to hold programs all over the country on the occasion of the Karamat ten-day celebrations, which begin with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA).
It falls on the first day of the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Qaada (Sunday, May 21 this year).
The Keramat events celebrate the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam, Imam Musa Kadhim (AS).
