Three Iranian Qaris Receive Qiraat Ashar Permission
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Three Iranian Qaris received special permission for Qiraat Ashar (ten styles of) recitation of the Quran.
Nineteen others were given permission for the Hafs recitation of Aasim’s method.
The permissions were granted at the closing of a specialized Quran recitation course dubbed Iqra.
It was held via video links on Friday with the participation of 22 Qaris.
The course is taught regularly by Egyptian Quran master Sheikh Mohamed Fahmi Abdul Sayyid Asfour.
Hashem Soltaninejad, Hossein Manahizadeh and Mohammad Javad Delfai were th trhee Qaris who were given the Qiraat Ashar permission.
