The plan carries the slogan of “get ahead of time and finish the Quran,” Al-Wattan reported.
Aisha Al-Safi, supervisor of the plan says the course aims to train female Quran memorizers who are well-informed of their role in the society and also to create a new generation that continues the path the serving the Quran.
She noted that 46 Quran memorizers graduated from the summer course.
Expressing satisfaction with women’s warm welcome to the Quranic courses, she said that 750 individuals have so far registered for the winter sessions.
The organization is seeking to expand the plan in several other Persian Gulf states, Al-Safi said, noting that related Quranic courses in Yemen and Oman have drawn 70 and 40 female learners respectively.
