Quranic Research Competition Planned in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Qatar’s Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) plans to organize a research competition on Islamic studies, linguistics and Balaqa (rhetoric) of Quran.

 

According to al-Sharq.com, the competition will be held as part of the activities of “Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021”.

Quranic style and rhetorical secrets of the Quran are among other categories of the competition, titled “Linguistics in Holy Quran”.

Katara has announced in its Twitter account that the research works should be submitted for the competition by October 14.

Winners will be announced on December 29 and top works will be published in a magazine.

Winners will be awarded $30,000, $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.
