According to Qaaf news agency, the competition was held on July 2 at "Muslim ibn Aqeel” Musalla (prayer hall) of the mosque under the supervision of Muhammad Javad Al-Turaihi.
Seyyed Adil Al-Yasiri, the head of the mosque’s Dar-ol-Quran Center, said that the Quranic event was organized for the fifth consecutive year as a part of the Quranic activities of the mosque.
13 Quranic research studies were assessed by experts and the work by Imad Al-Bakhtiari was selected as the best one.
Jasim Muhammad Abud and Janan Nadhim Hameed were i announced as the second rank winners of the competition and Kati’ Jarullah Satam won the third rank.
The festival was organized from June 30 to July 2 with the participation of representatives from Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and some other countries.
Among other Quranic programs of the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the mosque are holding national Quran competitions and Quran recitation contests at universities.
