Iranian Army’s Veteran Quran Activists Honored
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Three veteran Quran activists of the Iranian Army were honored for their efforts in Quranic fields.
The three, who have held numerous Quranic programs and recitation sessions during their Army service, were lauded for their efforts during the closing ceremony of the 36th edition of the nationwide Quran competition for Army officers, personnel and conscripts on Wednesday.
Ahmad Mollasalehi from the Air Force, Mohammad Baqer Farrokhi from the Navy and Mohammad Ali Fathi from the Ground Force, received gifts and certificates of honor at the ceremony.
Head of the Army’s Ideo-Political Organization Hojat-ol-Islam Alehashem and Army Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari were present at the event.
Tens of Army Quran activists took part in the competition, which was held in Tehran on December 25- 28.
